Depending on the medication and insurance, you may get it 3 days early and can have a reserve in about 2-3 months. Ask pharmacist: How many days early will my insurance allow me to refill this prescription? Can you help me build a 7 day emergency reserve over several refills? Is this medicine restricted so I cannot get an emergency refill?

Keep your Emergency Supply of medications separate from daily medication. Clearly label each medicine in a waterproof container and Set a Phone reminder to rotate as expires.

New Zealand – Pharmacy can help with emergency supply in case of disaster. Japan – has specific policy to allow medications if cannot see a doctor during disasters. France – Pharmacists have exceptional ability to assist with chronic treatment medications. Switzerland – Pharmacists can provide certain medicines for emergency without a prescription Germany – Pharmacist can provide certain medicines in urgent situation Ireland – Pharmacist can provide certain medicines in urgent situation. Singapore – Emergency medicine access during disaster programs. Norway – Emergecy policy in place to help with urgent continuation of medicine. Sweden – Emergency access is available.
