1 Item EVERYONE should have is a Battery Power Bank – PHONE = INFORMATION
A Battery Power Bank is a Rechargeable Battery that can be used to provide power to other rechargeable items. A Battery Power Bank has ports that you would plug into to charge that item like your phone, a light or other small item like maybe a personal fan or tablet. They are about as big as a phone and you can even carry with you for traveling, just to see a friend across town or in your bag or vehicle, or camping. If your phone dies and an emergency situation occurs away from home, you can have information and able to make contact for decisions. It is Back Up Power! The Battery Power Bank assures Access to information on your phone and is a necessity! IF you are on vacation, have to evacuate or in a shelter or just need an extra way to charge phone anywhere, a battery power bank is what I recommend for no worries about phone dying. The battery power bank can be charged and ready to go by using an outlet, solar panel on the unit, batteries, and some have a crank for short needs. Most also have a LED light on them. I recommend At least 1 per household but I recommend a back up in case of cloudy/Rainy days and cannot charge by solar or malfunction/damage. I have had one battery pack for over 5 years and company no longer makes that item (company only does solar panels now) with my other being a Blavor. My review of my choice is below but be sure to research and get one that is right for you and loved ones.
The Blavor SOLAR POWER BANK has 2 types of built in LED lights. 1 is hand held and then can also set up for a lantern light. It is Beefy! The switch for the 2 lights takes a minute to learn to “quick push” or “long push” for flashlight or lantern but both provide good lighting. It is solar charged along with being rechargeable from outlet or larger battery and has an emergency crank for short uses if needed. Lasts a long time, have used to charge phone and lights many times. Completely Charging by outlet to 100% takes about 3 hours. The solar panel will charge during the day, fully in about 7 hours with bright light. You may not can get 100% charged if cloudy but will be enough to recharge other items and use for light at night. AND The charging cords included; there is 4, are short, only about 5 inches but can stack items charging or has ports to use your own longer cord. The 4 cords included with a cool storage slot on the unit can charge iPhone, iPad, Samsung with USB type A and type C. With the ports, you could charge 6 devices at one time. This is made for extreme conditions. Is rated as water proof, however, on mine the rubber tab to close charging ports takes a long minute to get inserted and pushed down for tight seal, just as I have seen on my other “water proof” items. Not a deal breaker for me because of the 20000nAh capacity and also has wireless capability for charging phones TOO! About 39.99 with other bells and whistles like a thermometer and compass and lanyard.
